		<description>That sounds really cool. I'm actually turning my laptop over to Ubuntu this week so maybe I'll give it a go. I have to say, though: I love the satisfaction of the before and after effect -- watching a site go from loud and obnoxious to being full of empty spaces with little type that says, meekly and with all due embarassment, "advertisement".

		<description>If you have a Unix-based computer, including a Macintosh, you could install a local proxy server called Privoxy (http://www.privoxy.org/) which will handle most ad-blocking for you at the moment.  I almost never need to use the extension because of this.  Of course, using a local proxy will slow down your surfing a bit - but I have not noticed it being at all onerous.
